WHAT’S ON IN THE YORKSHIRE DALES?
There is always lots going in the Dales, whether you’re into walking, cycling, art, food, wildlife or history. So if you fancy organising your stay so that you can take part in an event or learn a new skill, there is plenty to choose from.
Keld Resource Centre is only a mile from us and has a great annual programme of events including guided walks, specialist guided walks such as birdwatching, wildflowers and lead mining, exhibitions, study days, historical talks and even cooking lessons. See the full programme at https://keld.org.uk/events
The Yorkshire Dales National Park organises a wide range of events across the Dales and throughout the year. For a comprehensive list of what’s on, check out https://www.yorkshiredales.org.uk/events
If you’d like to try a different experience, check out Emma’s Dale events – these are day experiences and include options such as yoga, forest bathing, stand-up paddle boarding and alpaca trekking. Picnics and cake are also included. Full details at https://www.emmasdale.co.uk
