Lovely Seat has been a delight. Waking up every morning to that glorious view is such a joy.

We loved our trip to the Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes. Don’t miss it! Very generous cheese tastings and a cafe with cheese scones to die for.

The Tan Hill Inn, the highest pub in England, provided some excellent beer and folk music. Good beer was also enjoyed in the Kings Head in Gunnerside and the Farmers Arms in Muker.

Best of all though was the walking. We enjoyed a particularly beautiful 15 mile ramble from Angram via Keld, Swinner Gill, Gunnerside, Muker and back home The legs are aching a bit this morning but it was worth it. I’m sure we’ll be back.

Thank you for introducing us to this beautiful part of the country. We wanted somewhere special to stay for Phil’s birthday and it certainly fulfilled and exceeded our expectations. Thank you for his lovely gift – it was a lovely touch and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The views are absolutely stunning. We really enjoyed the balcony and the dog loved her view over the meadows.

We have enjoyed your well equipped, comfortable cottage. Beautiful view. Weather has been kind and we had a wonderful walk from Muker to Keld. The primroses were unbelievable. Never seen wild pansies before either. Cream tea at Ravenseat is a must and Cotterdale (with its red squirrels) is an absolute gem. Hopefully we would love to make a return visit.

We booked this for our first proper relaxing weekend without our children in 10 years and we were not disappointed. The cottage is perfect in every way. You want for nothing. The setting is unbelievable – beautiful views, just stunning. The facilities are excellent.

Thank you very much for allowing us to share in this unspoilt beauty. We have achieved our aim and head home well rested and truly relaxed. We very much look forward to returning.

Have really enjoyed our return visit. We decided to walk to Ravenseat Farm to sample Amanda’s (Yorkshire Shepherdess) scones. We arrived to find Amanda had given birth at 1am that day and was being checked over in hospital. Clive quickly provided tea and scones – yummy. Went back later in the week – Amanda signed my book and introduced me to baby no 8! Also visited the Beatrix Potter experience in Cumbria – we loved it.

Delightful stay – enjoyed the spectacular views from the balcony. We would recommend cheese tasting at the Wensleydale Creamery and going for a dip at Hardraw Force. Thank you for a lovely weekend.
