Privacy PolicyThe new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) data privacy law will come into force on 25th May 2018 and we have therefore updated our Privacy Policy to reflect the new legislation.
We fully respect your right to data privacy and appreciate that you are entrusting us with your personal information. Therefore we want to make it clear how we use and protect your data:
BOOKINGS
We require information to create and fulfil a booking such as your name, address, email address and telephone number. We store this information in our online booking system as well as a paper copy for administrative and accounting purposes.
PAYMENTS
If you choose to pay for your holiday by debit or credit card over the phone, we will process your payment then destroy the paper version of your card information. Neither will we retain your card information in our online booking system.
If you book online via our SuperControl Ltd online booking system, we will not have access to your payment details. Please note SuperControl Ltd may retain your information in line with their own privacy policy.
COMMUNICATING WITH YOU
We use the information you have given us to communicate with you by email or by phone in connection with your enquiries or bookings.
We would also like to keep in touch with you by email to share relevant news and details of any late deals/special offers. If you prefer not to hear from us, simply press the Unsubscribe button in any email we send you or contact Chris Mitchell at enquiries@swaledalecountryholidays.co.uk and ask to be removed from our mailing list. We will action your request immediately.
SHARING INFORMATION
We do not share your information with anyone outside Swaledale Country Holidays unless required
KEEPING YOUR INFORMATION SAFE
We use password-protected computer systems to keep your data secure online.
We store paper records in locked filing cabinets.
