We booked this for our first proper relaxing weekend without our children in 10 years and we were not disappointed. The cottage is perfect in every way. You want for nothing. The setting is unbelievable - beautiful views, just stunning. The facilities are excellent.

Thank you very much for allowing us to share in this unspoilt beauty. We have achieved our aim and head home well rested and truly relaxed. We very much look forward to returning.

Lovely Seat is a traditional, cottage refurbished to an excellent standard. The bedroom features an exposed stone wall and a fabulous super king bed with luxury pocket sprung mattress. Cosy wood-burning stove and beautiful open stone walling. Consists of entrance hall, lounge with flat screen TV/DVD/CD/Radio, kitchen/diner with dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, ceramic hob and microwave, bathroom with bath and over bath shower. Private balcony with patio furniture and panoramic views of the Dales.

All fuel, premium quality linen and towels included in the rental price.

Lovely Seat is named after the hill it overlooks and enjoys a fabulous location in the pretty hamlet of Angram. There are two pubs/restaurants within a mile, a shop in Muker (two miles away) and the lovely market town of Hawes is only six miles away.

Lovely Seat enjoys spectacular views – as featured on ITV’s Britain’s Favourite View! Enjoy peace, seclusion and tranquillity – just the gentle sounds of sheep and birdsong. Breathe in the fresh, pure air and feel yourself unwind…

Relax in the cottage garden, five-acre wildflower meadow with streams and bluebell dell, and small woodland. Patio furniture provided.

Bring your binoculars – the wildlife is truly special here. We’ve had mistle thrushes, swallows, field sparrows and wrens nesting in the garden and you could also spot curlews, rabbits, hares, stoats and weasels. There are no streetlights here so the stars are truly dazzling…

Enjoy fantastic walking and cycling from the doorstep. There is secure storage on site for walking gear, cycles and motorcycles.
